"Guided by the Holy Spirit, we the people of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, strive to grow in love and charity, education and service to others, with Christ as the head of the Church."
The Light is ON for You!
Advent season is a time of preparation
that directs our hearts and
minds to Christ’s second coming
leading up to His birth on Christmas.
During this Advent season,
the priests in the diocese are helping to make the Sacrament
of Reconciliation more accessible to everyone by
arranging an initiative call “The Light is On for You.”
Reconciliation is a gift given to us by Jesus so we can
renew our faith, rekindle our relationship with God, and
receive His forgiveness and healing love. Every Wednesday
during Advent (for St. Thomas, Dec. 2, Dec. 9, Dec.
16) parishes throughout the Diocese of Boise will offer
the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 5 – 7 pm, so Catholics
across the state of Idaho can return to this incredible
source of God’s grace, mercy, and healing. These dates
are in addition to our normal schedule for Confessions. Visit
the Diocesan website, www.catholicidaho.org to see a
directory of participating parishes by location and for
other resources for celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
