The St. Thomas Community Kitchen serves dinner every Tuesday of the year including holidays. Meals are prepared and served from 4:30 to 5:30. The dinner is a complete meal with a main dish, green salad, fruit salad, rolls and dessert. Ten to fifteen dedicated volunteers prepare the meal.
We are funded through the generosity of the parishioners of St. Thomas with cash and food donations.
The meals are served at the St. Thomas Center. We serve anyone who has a need. Most of our guests are the working poor, the homeless and the elderly.
The kitchen has been in operation since the early 1990’s.
If you'd like to volunteer or have questions, you can call the parish at 208.664.9259 any Tuesday after the noon hour, and ask to be transferred to the Parish Kitchen for Norm Ridge or Kathy Perez.
